Freight Securing Systems Receive Patent for Its Load Securing System

BASILDON’S Freight Securing System have announced that they have received a patent for one of their FS200 Curtainsider securing system, making it the only patented system of its kind in Europe.

It’s a huge accomplishment for the Essex firm, who employ 12 people at their Basildon base. The FS200 Curtainsider is a manually operated cargo securing system that allows quick and easy implementation thanks to its unique overhead method of deploying the net and strap securing system.

The system allows the driver to deploy and position the securing system, from one side of the vehicle making it quick to use and accurate in the securing of the load. The system allows almost friction free parallel movement without twisting or snagging.

With the security of any load on a vehicle being the responsibility of the vehicle operator, Freight Securing Systems believe operators would benefit from having the best equipment available to them to do this.

The firm have developed the FS200 over the last five years. They are supported in this work by MJT Securities Group, one of the most reliable and truly innovative organisations within the automotive sector. MJT Securities Group have a history of investing in, as well as developing, leading products in the automotive sector.

Commenting, Stephen Payne, Company Director, said:

“We are delighted to receive this patent and see it as a reward for our hard work on the FS200. With exclusive rights to manufacture this product, we will continue to develop it in order to make it an industry leader.”

“At Freight Securing Systems, we understand how important the security of a load is. It is crucial to everyone’s safety that all steps are taken to secure a load. That includes employers, subcontractors, visitors, customers as well members of the public. It’s in the best interest for vehicle operators to have the best tools at their disposal and that’s where the FS200 comes in.”

“What makes the FS200 stand out from other securing systems is the quickness of getting it into operation. While at the same time it loses none of its accuracy. That will give vehicle operators peace of mind knowing that the load on their vehicles is secured firmly.”
